Abd AL Aziz Sadia From Humble Beginnings to a Leader in Premium Organic Date Production
Abd AL Aziz Mohammed Saadiya's entrepreneurial journey began at the age of 24 when he worked diligently with his family in the production and sale of coffee, spices, and seasonings. In 1997, he established his first business in this field, defying the challenging economic conditions his family faced at the time. Through determination and dedication, Abdul Aziz managed to gradually improve their circumstances.
Abdul Aziz drew inspiration for perseverance and hard work from his father, Mohammed Saeed Sadia, who was a committed policeman, a farmer, and also raised cattle. Mohammed Saeed, who was responsible for raising 14 children, instilled in them the values of hard work and sacrifice to provide a decent and secure life for their family.
After several years of success in the coffee and spice business, Abdul Aziz, supported by his mother, decided to expand their operations. With her guidance and assistance, he was able to purchase his first truck, allowing him to transition from home production to commercial transportation. This was a turning point in his career, as he worked long hours away from home to achieve his goals.
It didn't take long before Abdul Aziz expanded further by acquiring a second truck, leading him to invest in the trucking sector. He established his own company, which quickly grew to operate 60 trucks successfully in the market. These achievements not only expanded his business but also provided job opportunities for family members, supporting them in various stages of their lives. Abdul Aziz fostered a sense of family cooperation and solidarity, which became the foundation of his continued success.
In 2020, "Zorganika," a company founded in 1985 and specializing in the cultivation and production of dates, approached Abdul Aziz with an offer to purchase the struggling company. Leveraging his expertise in investment and calculated risks, Abdul Aziz decided to acquire Zorganika. He successfully restructured and developed its operations, turning it into a producer of premium organic dates.
Today, the company, rebranded as "AzizZorganika," owns 650 dunams of palm orchards in the Jordan Valley and operates a state-of-the-art date packaging and processing facility. Despite having little experience in agriculture, especially palm cultivation, Abdul Aziz showed remarkable persistence in developing the project, transforming the company into a leading producer of premium organic dates.
Over time, Abdul Aziz's sons, Omar and Abdullah, continued the legacy, guided by the values and principles instilled in them by their father. "AzizZorganika" today is more than just a company; it is a testament to Abdul Aziz Saadiya's vision and legacy of turning challenges into opportunities, making it a symbol of quality and excellence in the organic date industry.
